Universite de Strasbourg

Universite de Strasbourg is the second largest university in France and is tracing its origins back to 1538. It is one of the founders of the League of European Research Universities. Home to 18 Nobel prize winners, its famous alumni also include Johann Volfgang von Goethe, Louis Pasteur and Robert Schuman.
The university at its present form has been created in 2009 after the unification of three separate academies. Today it offers formation in a wide range of fields: arts, humanities, languages, law, economics, management, political science, human and social sciences, experimental science, technology and medicine.
The university welcomes many international students ­ about 20 % of all its students come from abroad. Located in a multicultural city at the heart of Europe, Universite de Strasbourg offers a unique life experience.
